Who does not love desserts? Nothing like a bite of sweetness to finish off a perfect meal.  For the oenophiles, how many of you have opted out of dessert for a port or a late harvest? I know I have many times.  I mean, why stop drinking?

When serving your guests this final touch, instead of the same old pour, try something fun.  Here, I have the 2010 Jacuzzi Family Vineyard Sonoma Valley Late Harvest Aleatico in a chocolate cup wrapped in gold foil.  The intense flavor sweet plum and licorice melts perfectly with the semi-sweet milk chocolate – heaven in a bite. Simply irresistible!

Of course, you don’t have to use the same dessert wine or port that I did, try and mix and match your own.  There are many dessert wines and ports that works quite well with chocolate. Yum yum!
